Apple releases OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 supplemental update to fix video driver issue

Just eight days after releasing OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 to the public, Apple released a supplemental update today to fix a video driver issue that may have preventing some Macs to boot up properly when specific video capture apps were used.

The update reads:

The OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Supplemental Update fixes a video driver issue that may prevent your Mac from starting up when running certain apps that capture video.

While most people probably didn’t experience this issue, it is still recommended to update your machine.

OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 was released on April 8, 2015, and besides the usual bug fixes and stability improvements, brought along a few new features such as the new Photos app, new emojis, and more.
